Strengths and Goals

Design and Manufacturing Technology

In 1983, Griffin Industries had the vision to take the then emerging CNC technologies and apply them to the production of foundry tooling. We were among the first users of CMM's as well. The success of those experiences has reinforced our commitment to continually research technologies that allow us to serve our customers better. That commitment shows in our machining equipment, measuring equipment, design software, CAM software, and rapid prototyping machines.

Single source responsibility

Griffin Industries has developed a network of suppliers who give us the performance we need to manage projects under very tight time constraints. That allows us to take full responsibility for all aspects of the projects we manage - from tooling, to casting, to machined and assembled parts.

Synergy

An optimal tool design does more than yield a good casting - it prevents problems downstream. That is why the foundry, pattern maker, and machinist all have input into the tools we design.

Attitude

When we take on a project, we are committed to see it succeed. Last minute changes are inevitable when taking on prototype projects. Regardless of the changes that occur, we do whatever we can to meet the original timing and cost objectives.
